Avoid sakhi (sakhii) hospital in bannerghatta road, bangalore

This is to inform all about the bad experiences me and my wife had at Sakhi (sakhii) hospital, bannerghatta road, bangalore.

Being near to our house, me and my wife went to this hospital for consultation when my wife was in her first trimester. The hospital is owned by Dr. Revathi Prasad. Our meeting with the doctor on first appointment went smooth, but then, our bad experiences started. On subsequent consultations, we were made to wait for more than a hour on each visit.

The doctor did not advice folic acid tablets to my wife ( I later came to know that folic acid tablets is a must for all ladies who wish to conceive - right from month 1). This doctor Dr. Revathi Prasad is so busy and does not concentrate on her patients well. During one of the consultation day, my wife had gone to lab for some tests and I was sitting in the corridor waiting for my wife to return. The doctor called me inside her chamber. I was totally unware that there was already a lady inside. The doctor showed me the pic of baby on the screen and said you can see your baby.!!! , whereas at that moment, my wife was in the lab. I told the doctor about this and walked out.

During consultations with this doctor, her concentration is always on the CCTV images as it's her hospital. She did not listen to us, hardly answered to our questions. Instead, her eyes were always at the CCTV, picking up the intercom and shouting at her staff - all this when we were in front of her for consultation.

This doctor went on to prescribe some costly tests (double marker), which incidentally is done in that hospital itself. We believed the doctor and got the tests done, but the report was not handed over to us even after 2 days. When asked about the report, we were told that the report is missing!! They didn't even have the copy in the system. But, surprisingly, they gave me the report the next day. So, I wasn't sure if we got the genuine results.

This being the experience, we decided never again to visit this hospital.
