Absolutely bad customer empathy

I had bought M-Size Pampers diaper pack and it turned out to be absolute sub-standard. I first mailed them- no response, then called up their Custcare, n was shocked to know that the call is outsourced to Manila, Phillipines! Takes time to understand their English and they are just so blunt. She asked me to return it to the store I purchased from, n then I was directed to the distributor: Sriven Corporations, Uppal , Hyderabad. This guy was another pain in the neck n I had to follow up all the time to understand the next step. He directs me back to calling the supposedly Mumbai cust care no, n bla bla... No customer empathy, no toll free nos. I wonder is this the same PnG that brings out so many products in the market, but does not even respond to mails, misdirects calls, n worst has such non-empathy distributors???
