About me

About me: The omnipresent “about me” section in social networking, Blogs & Job Hunting sites is a constant nag. The seemingly easy and obvious “about me” has never caught me easy. I almost blackout at the sight of it. Why? It just struck me today morning as I was creating my profile on yet another site that it is just a testimonial of what I am and how I am that is always a function of what I was and what I wanted to be. Sounds Weird. But every time I face this “About me” I am kind of squaring off the dilemma of what I wanted to be and what I am today. Should it be pricking me so much or today is just a bad hormone day? What is it that makes life a drag and “About me” an alien question. After grey reflections I found “Missing Factor” the Culprit. “Missing Factor” deprives from our pursuit of things we value and heaps on us mundane and trivial things which are too important to do away with . It affects in multiple ways “hey I don’t have time”, “I am tired”, “My Job Sucks”, “He doesn’t understand a thing”. “Where are my Friends” I can’t generalize and there are miscellaneous reasons too but again it brings us to the Big ‘About Me” question staring in our face. All said and done “The About me” void and the half hearted attempt to answer it continues. If I can’t answer it then I should learn to fake it.

What say?
