6) Sony Xperia Z1 - has a classic viewing experience. A high resolution handset with a 5 inch full HD display, 8.5mm thick and 170grams heavy, has 2 glass panes - one on the front and other at the back which give the phone an expensive look. Camera’s resolution is 20.7MP and is the first waterproof durable camera. The pictures taken from this phone are clearer and brighter than any other camera. Rest of the features are same as current iOS and Android phones. Though Sony has made enhancements and is doing well in the market, it still has a long way to go.

5) Nokia Lumia 1020 – has the outstanding feature where the resolution of the camera is 41MP. Also, it has a dual core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor. The only thing which holds it back is Microsoft Windows 8 OS, which is not as developed as Android and iOS but I guess the 41MP cam compensates for its drawbacks.

4) Samsung Galaxy S4 - looks splendid in white. Feather Touch is simply amazing. Dual shot is a cool feature introduced by Samsung wherein you click a picture using both the cameras - primary and secondary. It can also be controlled by voice. The Smart stay feature is also amazing wherein screen stays on as long as you’re looking at it. The Air Gesture functionality which helps in controlling device with gestures is superb. S4 is a major upgrade as compared to its predecessors.

3) HTC One – has done a great job in the market and given its competitors a tough time. The most attractive feature is “BlinkFeed” wherein the home screen of sense 5 shows blogs and news relevant to you in tiled format. The 4MP UltraPixel camera is a feature to watch out for. It can capture 20photos in a single shutter. Dual stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers give out clear loud sound. Like an underdog, HTC One rose up and its innovative features make it capable of competing where it counts.

2) iPhone 5S – The name says it all. It’s the phone that everyone wishes to own. Its dimensions and looks are pretty similar to its predecessors. The home button has a fingerprint sensor which is a new feature. M7 motion coprocessor is also introduced for the first time. FaceTime is a noteworthy feature which allows iPhone 5s make video calls to any FaceTime-enabled device over Wi Fi or a mobile network. Other remarkable features are proximity sensors, ambient light sensors, etc.

1) LG Nexus 5 – this is the best phone of 2013 that has won all hearts. With 5 inch high resolution full HD display, Nexus 5 stands out showcasing simple but certainly the best design. It comes with a 2.3GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM. Nothing much to talk about the camera as the picture quality is nowhere compared to its competitors. But, if you wish to have the best that Google offers with Android at a fairly good price, then this is the phone you should opt for.
