Most people drive to Bhima Shankar via manchar. The route via Vada ... take a left turn from Rajguru Nagar (Khed) and drive down ... it is a pleasant drive along the Chas Kaman Dam ... also one if has time must go across the Dam (ther is a Kaccha road after 19 kms after you take a turn from Raj...guru Nagar) ... The Kaccha drive is memorable. One can safely drive about 6 to 7 Kms ... can even have a picnic by the Banks of the Dam. Excellent place for camping too ... no hotels in the viscinity ... avoid eating in local restaurants ... they are basically catering to local Drunkard community. Carry your own food and snacks if picnicking around Chas Kaman Dam.Read More

DiveAgar no doubt is an extremely beautiful place. Almost a Virgin Sea Beach ... Thing I like about this small place is beautiful places to stay there ... have been mentioned in detail by Ajay in his review ... Other thing I like is the Ambience of the place ... and ... the Food. One must visit ther...e in leisure and not in haste. Ideal stay would be three nights ... Beaches are safe ... sometimes hooligan-tourists spoil the fun ... Local police must take note and be strict with those spoiling the fun of the visitors. In short ... a place really worth Enjoying ... in general I can rate it as a safe and affordable Beach Paradise.Read More

I bought my Bajaj XCD 125 in the month of May 2008. Reason to buy was my faith in Bajaj Products which I have been using since my childhood. In all respects XCD 125 has come far below my expectations. Average I get about 50 against 109 claimed by the company. I ride an average 100 Kms a month...Read more

My experience in Tapola is quite different to that mentioned here. Every thing accepted; the place is extraordinary beautiful; local people are nice and helpful; the place is not yet commercialised; in my opinion Tapola offers one of the best place for boating and water storts .. don't surpri...se if Tapola is marked on the National map as one of the best venues for the water-sports in the times to come. I find Tapola an excellent place for Camping; a safe place for the children; away from all kinds of pollution. I agree it is no where near Kashmir .. but, those who can't afford Kashmir must visit Tapola and make their own opinion about this place. Earlier I used to visit Mahabaleshwar; now, I go to Tapola and Camp there. Food and Stay both are very reasonable as compared to Mahabaleshwar. Road, I agree is narrow (No pot-holes) .. I believe it is going to be widened soon. Tapola, is among the best escape for a quiet holiday .. Bamnoli, another similar village nearby is in the process to add more sport for th einterest of the visitors. I strongly recommend Tapola .. for FUN .. and BOATING !Read More

Tapola 29 kms from Mahabaleshwar is the most beautiful place in the viscinity of Mumbai and Pune. An unforgettable place where nature stands still in its own natural way. Eyes do not tire looking at unending green forests and gushing waves in the Tapola lake. Tapola, sure is the place, one ca...Read more
