one more comment to others...
I feel no vehicle is bad vehicle. I owned Santro and Alto before and I cannot say they were bad. Buying a vehicle depends on budget and if we have multiple choices in the price range then people have multiple reasons like brand, maintainance costs, dealers, discounts,... looks, engine etc., if some one looking for a sedan (C segment vehicle) and cannot afford vehicles like Varna, Fiesta etc., they can definatetely look for Logan.
Also people planning to buy hatchbacks can look for this if they want to own Sedan.
That doesn't mean people will stop buying hatchbacks, it again depends on individual taste, budget, if it is first vehicle (people ownig multiple cars may prefer hatchbacks for their family/kids).
Every vehicle will have some minor hickups, important aspect is engine and general engineering. All I tried to say is that I dont find any flaws with Logan engineering in general. It is running in many counties obviously means it has to be flawless. With regard to material used, everyone needs to understand that every vehicle suppliers are almost same and their quality standards are all same. The supplier who supplied cluster supplies to most Maruti, Scorpio, Tata, GM etc., Infact the cluster in Logan is high end (with 2 gaguages, driver information) and definately will be costlier than the one in other high end vehicles. Infact driver information system usally will be in very high end vehicles and so far I have not seen in Indian cars (C segment), Even in 1.4L Logan LCD display would cost some extra money. I can go on....probably this is enough, after all I dont get anything out of this..Read More

Hello Mr Ratz, why buy hatchbacks when you can buy feature rich santro/waganor/spark for much less cost?
For your info. 1.6L, 6.5L logan is also feature rich and has even airbags.
1.2L U-VA LT is 5.6L without airbags, with airbags it is 30~40K more, with sterio it is even more, with engine immobi...lzer it still more. Why 1.8 ~ 2.0 ltr vehicles cost lot more (not less than 10L)? Please understand that you cannot compare 1.2L and 1.6L engine which is one of the major criteria in determining vehicle class.Read More

We test drove both 1.6 petrol and diesel models. The riding comfort and handling is extremely good probably best in the class. The torque at lower gears is very good. Initially we were apprehensive of this veh...Read more
