Engine heating is normal for almost all Brand New Purchased bikes because it has lot of friction as the piston is brand new and is not eroded. after a few hundred kms u will notice that heat is reducing.
I have purchased 8 days back and 480 kms done. heating is reduced now. also it gave me a wond...erful mileage of 59 KMPL before first service.after first service it shud give 65 at least. engine heat will reduce after 2 services.
and in accessories all showroom guys will burn ur pocket. leg guard, number plate, teflon coating, seat cover i got complimentary also i got the bike within 10 days that too black color as the owner was a good friend of mine.
Many more features of Unicorn will get unlocked after every three initial free services.
This is just the beginning.
One more thing i like is it has a very good pick up on 5th gear as well. and it can bear the speed of 25 KMPH on 5th gear without any load on engine.

well according to me Kinetic Velocity is the best bike in terms of looks,comfort, safety, mileage, good stability on indian roads. Also it seems u have not maintained ur bike properly (A to Z each and every part including engine noise, timing and vibrations if any) thats why it is giving u 60... kmpl. Company quoted mileage is 102 KMPL. and u run on 50 KMPH. Let me tell u i am a businessman and i run around here and there in the whole city. My running is more than 3000 Kms in a month. And sometimes on highway i ride till 75 to 80 KMPH. Still it is giving me 72 KMPL mileage just because i have maintained each and every part. And let me tell u its the best bike ive ever seen. There is only one problem in the bike i.e. rusting of handle, screws, nut bolts etc. otherwise all other parts are aluminium and another problem is spare parts are not easily available. Spare parts are only available at an authorised kinetic showroom cum service centre. Otherwise the bike is really good. Also u wanted to know how much is the max speed. It touches 105 KMPH wih rear tyre pressure 36 PSI(company recommended).
This bike is not seen so much on roads is because this is a mid priced bike. people would rather think to go for a Bajaj CT 100 ( mileage bike ) or directly go for a high end model like pulsar.
Otherwise my overall rating for this bike is 90 %.Read More
