Hi Vijaykdp, My mileage in the beginning was 15 to 17kmpl with AC in city. Now its 20kmpl with AC. 22 - 23 kmpl without AC. I think 2 most important factors are tyre pressure and driving style. Most significant increase in mileage happened when i started using clutch whenever i saw a slope or a r...ed light. I just let the car roll on its inertia. sometimes it even gives 24 to 25 kmpl. i am in process of perfecting the skill of using minimum throttle. BTW my car now has a very loud alternator belt noise on 1st and 2nd gear. Even my AC gives out a irritating tingling sound every now and then. anyone shares the same problem?Read More

I tried to get best mileage from my nano last month without AC using min. throttle and i have acheived around 23.5 kmpl. Now i have also started hearing a irritating vibrations noise from my AC vents.

dear neo8.... autorikshaw has mileage more than 30kmpl petrol, even more on lpg/cng.I think Autorikshaw is one of he most practical, space efficient and fuel efficient mode of urban transport. And hence i dont mind Nano being compared to Auto rikshaw. ofcourse if anyone wants to show their excess mo...ney, sky is the limit. By the way how some People look down on nano is the same what honda accord owners think about Alto or spark, is the same what Mercedes owners think about accord and is the same what Rolls royce owners think about mercedes. its a never ending story.Read More
