the HD fat-boy has tons of attitude! & it screams it aloud! & that's what the bike is all about. & that's what is special about it. other bikes may be crap, but this one does carry itself well!!

did you forget to mention the Lindt Chocolate factory? every visitor gets a generous gift of free chocolates after a fantastic tour of the factory's visitor centre! nonetheless, i still purchased 5lbs of chocolates at fantastic bargain prices!

i went to zurich couple of weeks back to meet my friends (flew there from london). was damn impressed with everything right from the airport to the streets!!! after visiting zurich, i've come to dislike almost every place in the UK, with the exception of scotland! switzerland is an amazing plac...e & zurich is no exception! you have to be there to experience it!! hopefully i'll be back there next year for a post-doctoral position at ETH (fingers crossed!!!) well written!Read More

i guess every movie tries to be 'different'. while only few succeed, others fall flat on their faces & bite the dust!! i guess with all the expermentation going around in film-making, we can expect to see such movies for some time in the future!!!

In my previous review (about apple iBook & all Macs in general, titled ''an apple a day..''), I had briefly mentioned about OS-X, the operating system that all new macs run on. well, that was just the tip of the iceberg! here I shall try to give an in-depth analysis & try to explain why it is...Read more

true, nothing can compare to the RX-100. but i prefer the RD-350. yamahas aint what they used to be. but still, the 2-strokes are better than any 4-stroke bike in india in terms of handling & performance.

i agree to your points! for an international airport, it is L-O-U-S-Y! considering the number of touts & other such creatuures, sometimes i feel that i'm not at an airport, but at the local chor-bazaar!

i note that many airlines tend to act very unprofessionally when you expect them to be otherwise. how do they expect to get in passengers this way? don't they ever realize how appaling their state has become? one the one hand, they entice people to fly with them by offering cheap fares & disount...s & what not! but the service you get on some flights is pathetic!!! why sahara, even a large international carrier like british airways can sometimes give hopeless service - this i have experiences when i flew to london in may. hopefully, my return trip in a few weeks will be better!! i do agree that Jet Airways is definitely the best in India. & hope that you have a better experience while flying next time!Read More

(this is not just about the iBook, but about all apple computers in general) there's an old joke about what happens when microsoft decides to make cars: 1) the cars would just stop suddenly in the middle of the road - you'd have no choice but to restart it... 2) occassionally all the controls wo...Read more

If I may say, the coastal belt of Maharashtra (the Konkan region) lies vastly unseen & undiscovered. The hype & publicity surrounding the ''popular'' beach destination Goa, has left the rest of the Konkan coastline grossly unexplored & underestimated. Well, on the flip-side, the advantage of ...Read more

If an optimist did invent the aeroplane, then there was the pessimist who came up with the parachute. But things are more complex with a PC! About 18 kms from Lonavala, Rajmachi is the place to avoid mundane civilization. It's a pretty decent trail & personally I like to go at night when there's a heavy downpour & return after a complete day's stay, on the third day morning! So you can start walking on friday night, reach there satur...Read more
