@NikhilVapi Yes the water did taste really bad intially but after 3-4 cycles it was fine. I suggest you call the service center and get the equipment checked again.
@sary5678 I do not wish to portray Magna as a bad product via my review. What I was unhappy about was the way the process was dealt with by Eureka Forbes sales and management. Happy to see a satisfied customer in you.
@sharmap1985 Sadly there is no product that I can recommend you. I did a lot of research for Kent, HUL and Aquaguard before I made up my mind to buy Magna. There are lot of bad reviews by buyers against all these companies for the service part which isn't up to the mark. I thought if the product qu...ality is decent then one would not have to face up the service. I went for Aquaguard as I had bad reviews on Kent and HUL from my personal circle. Also since I was using Aquaguard Reviva provided by my Owner for two years so overall experience swayed the decision towards EF.Read More
@vengadesht Luckily as of now it is working fine for me. Eureka Forbes will have to raise the quality standards for the hardware. I have seen many complaints on initial leakages and other issues. People should get the quality for the premium demanded from them.
@sab123 I faced the bad taste too initially as after 6-7 drain outs also the water was giving a muddy kinda taste but it improved in a two days and as of now after almost 2 months of usage, the product is working good.
@Sandy_mouthshut After all the hassles during the purchase process, the product is running good as of now unlike other experiences as mentioned by folks in comments.
@gaurav08 Thats sad to hear. I did not sign up for AMC as my usage is not enough to get the filters changed every year.
@srkhunk Sushil, the main issue is customer is short of choices in choosing a honest vendor. Almost all are involved in the same practice of fleecing customers be it Eureka or any other brand. I have come across horrible stories for other brands too from friends and also from other reviews on mouth...shut. You will not get a decent service from any of these people, you should just be lucky enough that the product you have bought doesn't run in frequent troubles other regular maintenance. Read More
@puneet.parihar, I am not sure of the surrender process but I am sure that Eureka would not take it back easily. If its of any help, the product is running decent however value for money is way lower than what you would have estimated based on the gigantic claims by the sales guy. @eureka_forbes, My sincere advice to you guys is that just posting that you are sincerely sorry is not going to erase the frustration of being cheated from the customer's mind. If you have guts to accept your mistake, take some action against the guys who are involved in this rampant and open forg...ery. I have even mentioned the name of the executive who dealt with me. I spoke to his manager as well and asked for an action against the guy but nothing happened which clearly suggests that the guidelines to fool and sell is running from the top.
