After 5000km we did try frenzy till 165kmph. Man this vechicle is still in your hands, very precisely even beyond 140kmph. thats great !!! Hope, driving freaks can appreciate this.

I could understand most ppl are keen on the service backup and reliability aspects, that scores much more than the car itself. Let me explain what i think about service and espically automobiles....(not meant to be offensive against any make / dealer) * The moment you book the car you are committed... * The moment you get it delivered you are married :) This mindset is verymuch needed to have an informed relation with the dealer and we have to trust them big time. Be it Maruti, Huyndai or even the BMWs After that what matter is the DAY your car is @the service center and the engineer attending your car and nothing else. The automobile has to be diagnoised properly for any faults and take informed decisions after discussing it with the owner for fixing. Many ppl celebrate Maruti for its service backup but i strongly differ from that, more the service centers they have its becoming night mare because the quality of service :( we had all sorts of issues with the local maruti service centers, they screwed up battery connections, suspension assembly, gas kit.......and had to spend hefty to get those corrected just because of the service professionals mistakes. Its pathetic to know that most of the Maruti service centers have that issue. So more distribution/service centers= poor reliable service. Quality of Service inversly proportional to the number of service centers. Its not just a problem with Maruti but with any other auto maker. Something should be done by the auto makers to break the above formula. Very recently i found MSM(Maruti Service Masters) doing great for Maruti but there are very few MSMs in the country. so brand=service reliability never gets into my mind. 6500KM [22 March 2011] ================== Done 6500Km so far and the first service @1000km is over. The first service is just merely a checkup and nothing else it seems. Trust me its really fun every time i get this car on road. Its a white one! Excellent handling, easy to manuover in traffic. ...beyond that the so called gimmik's really proves useful auto folding mirrors, climate control and the smart key, you can only appriciate when you start using it. Suspension is really good, cabin insulation is again on par. 15kmpl overall driving around coimbatore city+highway. Still i am doing restricted driving under 80kmph, i assume this would allow the engine to settle. May be after 5000km i should frenzy and test the needle : ) then i can comment better on the stability and control on highspeeds, but so far its excellent i should say thumbs up in this regard. I dont mind doing rough roads with Micra, it just handles it perfectly. The gear shift is not so impressive, i have clarified it with the dealer and they say it will ease out after sometime. Apart from that one thing i find missed out is the 60:40 :( i miss this big time I felt the dealer is very friendly (Ramani Nissan, Coimbatore). I got 3 calls so far from Nissan customer care (020 i suppose its from pune). 1st call to confirm my booking number 2nd call just before the vehicle arrived at the dealer and the 3rd call after the first service. One more thing thats worth mentioning is the gear box issue. I have complained this to the dealer right on day 1 and couple of times after that whenever i dropby, during the first service the delar explained that the gear box is better in the diesel version and Nissan has plans to fix this in the petrol versions already delivered by organising a campaing as most of the owners complained on the hard gearbox. so this looks to me a nice gesture from the auto maker :) hold on....untill it gets actually fixed ;) I could understand most ppl are keen on the service baRead More
