I had same issue , 10 years policy was ported by star health , previous diagnosed CkD and claimed was forced to port online telesales , proposal form sent in whatsapp signature attached in blank revert in what's app , but produced falsified call record and proposal form , 10 years continuous pol...icy wrongly declined and cancelled non disclosure of PED , but finally succeeded getting award in my favour in ombudsmanRead More

in general star health insurance is cheaters they trying to cheat the innocent policy holders in terms of premium , when they want settle claim they will have there own answer to deny claims.

during port of senior citizen port , in spite of her medical claims and medical history explained to direct tele sales team he makes false statement ckd and bp is covered but purposefully not mention in PED , there is no transparency of policy sale by sales team what ever telephonic call about polic...y shared by tele sales team need not be true , you have to record the call , and there recorded call they will not share , they are meant for denying policy and also threatened to cancel of policy. mine is 10 years continuous policy in ICICI Lombard , the star health tele sales team cheated forcing me to get port from ICICI lombard now threatening they will cancel my policy for mis representation n statement . denying reimbursementRead More

IRDAI should intervened , when they know how they are cheating insured person , they should draft common policy to all insurance company,
there is no transparency in sale of policy , insurance agent give wrong details and sale policy
During claim they will not keep up the words whatever they hav...e explained during sale, insurance become more of business rather than service .
IRDAI should take serious action , insurance company can not go PED rather they can ask medical record of previous claim.

Who ever giving positive opinions either they are agent or star health insurance employees.

We are paying huge premium on health insurance , we are not asking any free or concessions , middle class family definitely affected .
Especially mine case 9 years continuous policy in ICICI Lombard , online telesales called for portability , since my policy I have already ported from Lombard 3 years back , they are insisted mother for port , I have refused to port as I don't wanted to risk since she already diagnosed CKD , but this time they succeed by one of telesales communicated himself as manager he told existing CKD will cover in port orally , he forced to port as my policy is due for renewal , also assured during problem he will assist . proposal form he purposefully not mentioned CKD , when I insisted he told all PED in policy already covered no waiting period ,
When I have admitted my mother potassium issue , hospital sent for claim , but claim got denyed same was not mentioned in policy , now they are cancelling my policy which I have holding from 10 years by stating misrepresentation in policy.

It's a fake company , they cheat giving wrong assurance during sale of policy , during claim you will know reality, support and online telesales team both are involved , they show some or other wordings to deny claim.
I don't agree government health insurance companies are best

Yes star insurance and allied company is a cheating company , they are main motive to cheat insured Person , staff also not cooperative , they always search way and means to denied payment , IRDAI should take steps to insured person interest in settling claims , so many people who have paid premium ...regularly suffering not getting claim .don't buy or port they are cheaters , support and griviiance cell are also part of there cheating sales team , some or the other way give wrong information during claim they try to deny by showing policy terms and conditions .
Inspite of PED of CKD disclosure telesales person assures all PED of previous will be covered automatically no waiting period , during claim purposefully not mentioned CKD in PED and claim team deny claim also comunicate policy will be cancelled,
They don't have transparency while port they should insist prehealth medical check up that to senior citizen on comprehensive policy , dispite of mother health tele sales manager Kuldeep Sharma Delhi who misguided and succeed to port, during port he assured he will help if any problems now he obsconding not received my calls .
at 64 who will give policy to my mother for CKD patient , I was holding policy from past 9 years in Lomboard , because of there wrong information and to achieve there sales they have purposefully not mentioned CKD in PED trying to cheat . They have collected medicine list . I don't know how they cheat public.
I am now checking views how they are cheating public , IRDAI should take strict action , I am planning to give compliant at ombudsman , if I didn't get justice I am ready to go consumer court ,

I have also same issue , direct tele sales team approached past 2 years to port , I clearly told my mother is CKD patient I don't want to take risk in port , mine is 9 years policy, Manager Kuldeep Sharma called and confirmed the policy not require any co payment and CKD and existing is covered ...no waiting period . But proposal he mentioned only Hypertension and its complication , 6 months after port my mother was admitted with potassium issue , she is been treated hemodialysis . star health is denying cashless treatment . Deepak asked me duration of diseases I have approached CMD to send she is diagnosed this disease from 2013 we have claim in 2013,2015and 2017 .
They have sent letter they would have not ported if it is mentioned in PED , there own sales team informed CKD is covered in telephone now he is not picking my call, support team initiated cancel of my policy .
Now I am suffering despite of my communication telesales team wrongly guided and ported my policy , now they are cancelling my mother policy . she is now 64 Diagnosed as CKD , who will give policy , I have paid hospital bill inspite of paying huge premium,
when they do port of senior citizens they have to obtain medical records and previous claim history from previous insurance company. Inspite of her medical history communicated to telesales cheated by porting policy .
I am verifying review now , everybody is same issue , IRDAI should take strict action . There is no transparency in sale or port , only they blame customer.
They are cheating educates what about others , they sell policy giving wrong information to customer , we will come to know reality when we go for claim.

I have received letter from support team my policy will be cancelled,
1. telesales told lie confirmed existing CKD covered , inspite of her claim history and her disease they have not add CKD in PED .Same was questioned they have given wrong information everything is covered.
2.they have to check ...Lomboard to IRDA website check applicant claim history and medical records
3 during port they should have not insisted pre_health medical check up
4.No transparency there own direct sales team cheated ,they are supported totally star health and allied company cheating insured customers. They have cheated I am loosing coverage in Lomboard , because of this cheaters now cancelling my policy , I have paid huge premium both Lomboard and star , they have not given me policy free of cost , when they port they have to check all details , Telesales team they have sold product they have achieved there target by porting Senior Health 64 Years star comprehensive policy .
Star Health and allied company is cheating health insurer by not approving claim.
