good feedback......I am very satisfied with Logan DLX.......though I have not tried from 0-3rd gear :)) Regarding car prices......do you know there is a 250% duty on Cars in Denmark ...he he he...Debmark dosen't manufacture cars and imports from Germany (Merc, BMW, VW, Audi etc) and Sweden (V...olvo).....let me tell you...the kind of cars available in India come close to the roads on which they are driven......you can't drive a Farari or Romeo anywhere in India.....so better to be on the groundfloor ; ))Read More

Don't want to discourage you on the idea but to clarify matters, Logan was launched in East Europe by Renault as a low-price car for the working class. The car picked up in Romania, Check, Bulgaria and Poland. Then the parent company imported a consignment to France - where this car was not availabl...e and it took France by storm. It was an instant hit for the value it offered for money. But in France - it remains a low priced car - not for the glitterati Everything said and done - this is not a high end car but is very good for day to day rugged use. Incidenatally, in India it is trying to capture that market, but most Indians try to compare it with fancy models without actually knowing the market segment - this car is set to capture. It will be a very intelligent alternative for Esteem, Ford (base models), Accent and similar vehicles - it is not in competition with Honda Accord or a BMW Some choose to compare this vehicle with Wagon R s and Swifts - none of which actually qualify as value for money - though both are good hatch-backs. While India is emrging with a broader band of middle and upper middle class - who look for value in every rupee spent - Logan is here to stay. Incidentally, I read Mr Hormasji labelling the Diesel versions as overpriced, that was an embarresment Mr Hormasji, there are better ways to cover a bias ....if you think of overprised cars, why didn't you look at an Estilo or a Passat - is it just because they throw more lavish parties during a launch.Read More

Good to see some discussion on my review, actually I tried to suggest that if one is buying a mid sized car, according to me, Logan is the best deal. For those who have already bought one, before it's launch, they may not be in a position to revert to Logan, so it is no point repenting.

Logan - when I first heard the name, I knew that it is a Renault (Reno) product, since I was for sometime in Paris and Avegnon. This car is popular in France with the features that are provided in the French version. However, when I first went to check it out in the Chennai showroom. I found ...Read more
