Hi Abhishek, am too planning for a Term plan & have come across a news - As per a recent ruling of the Supreme Court if an insurance company has done the medical checks of the policy insurer, it cannot at a later stage repudiate the claims stating that xyz conditions had been kept hidden. Some ad...ditional loading of premium does happen post the medicals so as to cover the extra risk in case of any health issues. This should help a lot in filing a case against the Insurance company in case they reject the claim :) but the point is to educate these to the person who is going to claim (like your wife/children).Read More
