Reviewed Five Worst Actors of Bollywood Movies

Sep 13, 2006 03:40 PM 5391 Views

It's been a while since I'd written my last review. I was just flipping through the old pages - and thought - this is a relatively safe topic to write after a long absence - maybe I'd still manage to be in sync with the most progressive & aggressive people out here on MS. Okay - here we go ........Read more

It's great to see a review on one of India's most underrated actors. The information delivered is great, too. But there's one thing I'd like to point out - despite 'Gabbar Singh' being Amjad's most celebrated performance, the portrayal of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah in 'Shatranj Ke Khiladi' is - in my opin...ion - his best performance. Didn't see much of that in the review. Best of luck mate!Read More

Hi All, The last few reviews I've read here - has pulled me out of hybernation and I'm forced to write some lines. I'd recommend the people - please do not consider this as a review but think of it as an opinion. Most of the people have written more about Subhash Bose than about the film. ...Read more

I'd like to agree to your list - except for Arjun Rampal. I think that he's got good stuff for acting - but it's yet to be tested.

A lot has been said and written about the story and the characters of this film - so I'd not prefer to dwell on those subjects. However, since this one's my first review after a long hybernation - I'd try to keep it short, if not sweet! Technically - this film would be definitely of the super...Read more

Hi Kavithaa, I'm just plain astonished - how do you manage so much of indepth details for topics which are apparently so trivial? Just keep going!!! Cheers, Anirban

After a long time I managed to see a film which was complete - in certain senses - although it definitely lacks on many other grounds. ...Read more

Hi Premjit, I must congratulate u on this nicely written review. But, there are a few points which I think u must consider. 1. Music was SUPERB! I haven't heard such a beautiful music throughout assisiting the film, for long time. And yes I think it's much better than even HDDCS. 2. Shahrukh ...Khan - his performance was the only blemish amidst fantastic acting by others and yes as usual he did his bit of over-acting. I am not challenging your opinion or choice by any means but I feel you must do consider this. Cheers, 3rdeye.Read More

I was astonished at the way the film has been analyzed. Maniac, u've done a great job. And I must say that I've never read such a well-informed film review - Is Khalid Mohammad reading this. Cheers, 3rdeye.

I am sorry to say this out loud, but the author's sense and knowledge about the subject is just not there. Ganguly is the most courageous cricketer in India after Mohinder Amarnath. He's the first captain who has taken the opponents head-on which not even the mighty Kapil Dev had done. As a fielder ...he really does need to improve, as a bowler he is quite effective on certain surfaces, as a batsman he is very neat and stylish - beyond comparison with any contemporary, except Lara. Most importantly - he is the strictest and best captain in the history of Indian Cricket. No captain has backed newcomers to the extent Ganguly has done - yet people say he's not a team man - disheartening. And mind well, all this he achieved when he was in the worst patch of batting form and under nasty criticism from all quarters - team, board, journos & people. Someone must have gone bonkers to doubt this man's capabilities.Read More
