Extremely disappointing experience with Godrej

The project was originally supposed to be delivered in 2023, but possession was finally handed over only in February 2026 after years of delay. Even after such a significant delay, committed customer dues and timely rebate amounts are still pending despite full and final payment being completed within the required timeline.

Homebuyers are expected to strictly honor every payment deadline, interest clause, and penalty. But when it comes to honoring commitments towards customers, there appears to be endless delays, lack of accountability, and no urgency in resolving genuine grievances.

People invest their life savings, take loans, and plan their futures around promised possession timelines. Delaying possession by years while simultaneously withholding committed payments is unacceptable and deeply distressing for buyers.

After repeated follow-ups and no meaningful resolution, I am now considering escalating the matter legally through Consumer Court and relevant regulatory authorities.

I hope no other homebuyer has to go through such an exhausting experience.
