Even the best of players haven't taken their success for granted and one such example is Yuvraj Singh. The 2011 World Cup'Man of Series' has been in and out of the team ever since his recovery. He made a comeback with the Twenty20 matches but it wasn't strong enough. December 2013 was the last time he played for India at the South African. Due to poor form, he was dropped from the team.

In a recently conducted interview by Wisden India, the all-rounder admitted to have considered the possibility that he may never be able to play for team India again. "I haven’t played to the best of my potential since I’ve come back, but I have always been trying my best, and can only have a positive attitude to life," said the cricketer. Further, he added "I can’t really speak about selection. What is the best opportunity that I have? Duleep Trophy, the Ranji one-dayers and whatever other games I can get. As I said, if I can make it to the squad, it will be a great story. It will be awesome to come back and play for India in a World Cup again. If it doesn’t happen, life goes on, and it will be hard to accept, but I’ll have to accept it."
