Today, while I had stopped at a medical shop to pick up some stuff, heard this song
'ei mere watan ke logo' and could not move from there till the song was over.
I must have heard the song hundreds of times but still it gives me goose bumps when I hear it.
Such a powerful yet beautiful song. What lyrics and music!!!!!!
And the way Lata Mangeshkar has sung, it's nothing but divine!!It touches the core of the soul.
Atleast for those 4 minutes, I don't think of anything else but those bravehearts who have fought for all of us and laid down their lives without a second thought.
