My open letter to Anil Kumble.
Anil,
I think it will be the most peaceful night while you are going to sleep tonight. There will be no tension behind you to be dropped from the team. People of India knows that you have served for long 18 years for the country, but our media already fixed a stamp on you that you do not know how to turn a ball. Still I am very shocked to see that there are 619 test wickets in your pocket. You are the third highest wicket taker in test cricket history. Obviously the highest wicket taker in test and ODI in Indian cricket history.
You are probably the most inconsistent cricketer and have dropped from a lot of matches in your life. It took place by courtsey of BCCI. Your form was not under consideration for the selectors. Now you could get time to think why Mohindar Amarnath told those selectors 'Joker'. I do believe if your form was considered during selection of our team, you were the highest wicket taker in world cricket history.

You were the Wisden Cricketer of Year for 1996.
Shortlisted for Wisden Indian Cricketer of 20th Century in 2002.
4 times Man of the series in test cricket history.
1 time Man of the series in ODI cricket history.
10 times Man of the Match in Test Cricket.
6 times Man of the Match in ODI.
10 wickets in a test innings.
What more a cricket fan need from you? Nothing to say....
