Res Sir,
My friend Mr. Ramesh had purchased an aircel mobile no:9551385422 from
Arulmurugan stores in pattabiram area on 01.01.2010 after submitting
the xerox copy of address and id proof along with the application.
After receiving the application and necessary documents as per TRAI
rules the Aircel company has activated the line on the same day. But on
12/01/2010 the line was disconnected without notice. Even calls to
Customer care and emergency police, fire and hospital numbers were
barred. Hence Mr. Ramesh informed me of the same and I reached the
aircel customer care from the mobile number 9094475010 and asked the
details for the disconnection for which I was informed that the
documents proof have not been submitted by Mr. ramesh. I asked the
customer care agent to hold the line and I asked Mr Ramesh whether he
had submitted the documents. For this he said that he had given all
necessary documents at the time of purchasing the simcard itself and
immediately contacted the arulmurugan stores to confirm the same. Mr.
Arulmurugan, owner of Arulmurugan store informed that he submitted the
application along with all the documents to M/s Maruthi Traders who is
the area dealer for Aircel. When I contacted the area dealer over phone
who also confirmed that all documents have been submitted to Aircel
office/executive on 07/01/2010 itself. These details were informed to
the customer care agent who was on hold in the line and after
confirmation he released the line.
But on 01/02/2010 the line has been disconnected without any intimation
to Mr. Ramesh. this was informed to me on 02/02/2010 and immediately
called the aircel customer care no 121 and asked them details for the
disconnection for which the same reason as above was given. This time I
booked a dockect for disconnection of line and a docket on one Mr.
Sasikumar Team Leader, Aircel Customer Care who refused to give
information. Again I contacted the Arulmurugan stores and the Maruthi
distributors who after confirming the details as earlier started to
abuse me over phone for asking the name of the aircel executive/officer
where the documents were submitted. When they abused me over phone I
asked them to give their address so that I can send a legal notice but
they refused and disconnected the line.
So I had to register a complaint on Maruthi Trader for their above act
and requested the contact details of Maruthi Traders, but they gave
several address and phone numbers and my search for contact details of
Maruthi Traders was in vain. In this process I contacted on Mr. Aswin
over phone who is an area manager who said that he has nothing to do in
this case and disconnected the line abruptly. So I had to register a
complaint on him for his act. I also contacted the nodal officer over
28490849 after coming to know that the nodal officer phone number
25324141 displayed in aircel website and given to customers by customer
care agent. To my surprise there were more nodal officer (or calling
themselves nodal officers without any authorization) such as bhuvana,
solomon, and farahat instead of Ms. Devavani Umashankar whose name is
diplayed as nodal officer in their website and provided by Aircel
Customer care agent. Call to nodal office was also in vain because the
call back assured before 6pm of 02/02/2010 was not received.
Again at around 5:45 pm I contacted 28490849 (nodal officer number) and
there was another surprise. The security guard of aircel has become the
nodal officer and he was answering the calls.
After this I contacted the 121 again to know the official direct mobile
numbers of Nodal officer which was directly refused by Mr. Sasikumar
and also said that there is no other higher authority other than Nodal
officer and refused to give details of the appellate authority.
