My name is Vikas Rana. I have purchased Yamaha SS125 Balck and Red model in 2011. I have been using the bike from the past 5 years. The performance of the bike is far below normal. Will tell you the pros and cons of the bike
Pros:
1) Excellent looking bike in this price range
2) Good handeling
3) Good suspension
4) Comfortable broad and long seat
Cons:
1) Average ranges from 40-45 km per litre which is lowest in 125 cc range motor cyles
2) Spare parts are not readily available. You have to visit Yamaha service center for the spare parts.
3) Defective wiring. The self start of the bike automatically starts and keep on auto starting until the battery drains out. I have changed the relay twice under warranty and once from my pocket but the problem continued until I stopped using the self start.
4) The gear shift does not have the heel pad making your shoes worse.
5) Braking is very poor.
Overall my experience with this bike is very poor. Don't recommend anyone to buy the bike.
