I had high hopes from NueGo, seeing all the buzz about clean, green, and premium travel. But my first journey with them was enough to make me never book again.
Route & Date:
Delhi to Chandigarh booked for April 25, 2025, 6:30 AM departure.
What Went Wrong?
Bus Arrived 45 Minutes Late:
No prior SMS, no email, nothing. Just left waiting at the Kashmere Gate pickup point with no clear instructions. When I called customer care, I was kept on hold for 12 minutes and still got no update.
No Staff at Boarding Point:
Unlike other premium services, there was no representative present to coordinate or help passengers. A bunch of confused people standing around in the heat.
False Promises of "Luxury":
The seats were dirty with food crumbs, no sanitization. One window didn't close properly and AC wasn't working properly in the middle rows. For something marketed as premium EV travel, it felt worse than a regular Volvo.
Rude Driver & No Professionalism:
When one passenger politely asked why the bus was late, the driver just shrugged and said Traffic tha, hota rehta hai and walked off. Zero courtesy.
Charging Points Not Working:
One of the reasons I booked NueGo was because they advertise working USB ports and Wi-Fi. Both were either disabled or broken.
Small Incident That Sealed It:
One elderly lady was having trouble placing her luggage under the bus, and the driver just told her Jaldi karo instead of helping. A fellow passenger helped her. That was the final red flag for me.
Fare Paid: ₹;1, 099
Definitely not worth the price when there are better managed options like Zingbus or Intercity SmartBus at the same or lower cost.
