Took my order for a double bed on 18th May 2024 and gave the delivery date as 18th July with full payment done.
They advertise themselves as a company manufacturing their own furnitures with materials sourced from all locations in India and a well to do operations of manufacturing and delivery.
On 18th July 2024, I got a call that they cannot deliver on 18th July 2024, sorry for the inconvenience as they did not get the required wood sourced.
So after 60 days they woke up and gave this notification.
I asked to cancel, the customer care executive asked me to cancel instead of them cancelling it with reason.
I asked them when can they delivery, they pushed the date to another 60 days and replied it would be 18th September 2024 new delivery date, would you like to go ahead with it?
I said no way, I cannot trust you guys with your words, I will cancel it.
I cancelled it online and they started the refund process, I have not verified if the refund has come or not, trust they at least refund the money and not cheat a customer in broad daylight.
I can see multiple failures of them as a business
1. WE cannot trust this organization. No Remorse, No Customer empathy and they will not stay committed to their words.
2. Process is so worst that they keep mum all 60 days and on the day of delivery they come and inform they cannot deliver. Sleeping customer service and management and all others involved in ensuring that a customer order is supposed to serviced.
I call this as cheating and trying to defraud a customer with sub-standard processes and making customer wait for 60 days and enjoying the working capital.
Imagine even if I pay 35K for a Bed along with 10 others that makes it 3, 50, 000 for 60 days is a good working capital.
They are working on Zero working capital and a commercial loan would have costed them anywhere between 10-20%.
They may have reasons, issues, challenges and they are genuine is not my concern. I am not here to look at their challenges. They are not doing charity. Its business and customer need to be services else compensated accordingly if you can do business.
Do not get emotional with businesses, We work hard and earn and this hard earned money cannot be de-valued like this by Businesses.
Ask them to this with their Shareholders and employees, you will come onto the road and flee the country like other businesses.
Never lose the trust of your customers and employees, your suppliers, vendors else you will fall and your downfall will be worse and people will remember you for years and for other businesses and genuine businesses its an challenging environment to do business because of you guys who have failed.
Think before you act like this, no congruency in your acts and thoughts and vision.
