A recharge of Rs. 25 for full talktime provided only Rs. 20... This has lead me to believe that not everything advertised on the Vodafone  website is true. Earlier, my service was deactivated b'cos the company decided to sign me up for some service that was never requested, resulting in my account getting drained without me using my phone. The communication from Vodafone Karnataka was limited until the issue  was raised to the Nodal Officer and then it was resolved.


Even something  as simple of deactivating advertising SMSs (enrolling in the DND) takes upto 45 days with the company. So, is the customer the King?  UPDATE to the original review: I dropped a note to Vodafone stating I had been shortchanged on the Rs. 25 recharge, and I got a response within 24 hours that corrective action had been taken.


This time around, I'm impressed with the promptness of service. Hope things are changing for the better :)
