I took the Apache RTR 160 (not the FI) from my cousin brother 5 moths back a 2 years old machine clocking only 16K as he shifted to a Bullet Electra. It is now 2 and half years old. I never rode an Apache before though heard a lot. I instantly became a fan of its pickup and braking (270 mm disc). But right from the day one I could feel that there was an unlikely vibration whenever I tried crossing 50km/hr through the handles and the foot pegs which I never expected from such 160cc machine and thought that servicing will fix it.
Went to servicing but they also couldn’t fix it. May be some owners of this machine can throw some light on the issue. The best thing I always feel about the bike is its handling. It can be used as a sharp tool to cut through the traffic. Well after servicing mileage has improved significantly from 40+ to 50+ though never really bothered much.
