The big bang theory is a show about best friends and roommates Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter who are physicists working at the California Institute Of technology and obviously know a ton about quantum physics but not so much about women or social customs.
When Penny, a waitress and a struggling actress, moves next door and she soon becomes friends with Leonard, Sheldon and their friends Raj and Howard.The show is about how this bunch of geeks deals with socializing and with women.
The show is absolutely hilarious because it is so funny to see that people who ace something as complicated as quantum physics can struggle so much with basic social customs.The show is a must watch.
