I own Scorpio, Wagan R and wanted to change vehical for change sake. So I sold Wagan R and thought of going for M-Hawk Scorpio. Whole family had home test drive with new scropio Hawk. One day I just happened to drop in to Tata Showroom to see Safari. Thought I already own Scorpio so lets try for New Safari. good vehicle but no seats at aft. Just 2 seats for kids. My family is of 8. All of sudden I got feeling why not try Grande.
So I entered inside parked Grande and sat on 3rd row seat and fell in love with it. Same time decided to go for Grande. Sudden instinct felt within and whole family again had home test drive. I brought this vehicle next day in 7.68 lacs (on the road) on 12th Dec 08. (got benifit of govt decision and Tata discount) it is GX model mineral red color fully loaded. I just had to pay for guards, and rear camera for reverse.
The vehicle I drove to my family farm plus on highway. All vehicle gives bump when road is not good. so this is not first time when I had bumps. My scorpio does same.
Overall all my family and friends liked Grande and even we proposed few of my friends and wishers. It is good vehicle and value for money as everyone say. Inside plastic is shaby but again, I compromised on money.( MHwak cost me 11.25 lacs on road). I did not put mac wheels as suggest by Tata showroom engineer as it does not require. Tubeless tires are adequate to take jerks.
