Social Intelligence. Review on Social Intelligence - Daniel Goleman

SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE is a new book from our own Daniel Goleman who wrote EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE earlier.

It was a good book, I knew some new things from it like stonewalling and emotional bank balance theory.Similarly he theorises some new terms in this book also like mirror neurons, spindle cells, high road, low road, it-you-us theory etc.

I’ve listened to its audio version as it was gifted to me, but I always like the paper copy.It has 5 discs inside it and is produced by audio renaissance.

Although I didn’t find something very awesome about this book as I am well versed with the biological connection Daniel has drawn to human behaviour, still I liked the way he has connected various human emotions with chemical and neural mechanisms.

He has used various case studies to elaborate his point thus simplifying the thing he wants to tell.Deleterious health effects of strained human relationships are widely discussed in this book as well as good effects on health from good enriching relationships. I recommend this book as it delves deeper into insights which daily human interactions bring about.
