Gone are the days when one had to apply for a phone and wait for years to get a telephone connection. the advent of mobile phones and wll services has really made the phone an luxury commodity to the poor man. It is a fact now to see that even an street hawker carry an mobile. I was really afraid of my choice to buy a mobile or to buy a reliance phone but I ultimately bought a reliance phone which I thought would be best choice for my case where in I live in haridwar in uttaranchal and my parents in chennai. my parents come to live with me for some 6 months in a year when the ordinary phone lies in my house unused or there is always a confused state to write a letter to disconnect the phone or find some other option. Now they can just leave the reliance phone with my sister who is studying in chennai while they leave for haridwar ...
In my case land lines in both end can be submitted back to bsnl and two reliance phone bought and make std calls as if it where local
