The reason I bought this modem is because I have a 3G phone and I don't want to upgrade to a recent model. It connects to my cellphone quite instantly nd the speed delivered is awesome. You can make calls through this modem and share messages as per your plan through the JIO 4G app. Multiple devices can be connected to this device and most importantly you can share your files through a micro SD card which can be connected to the slot provided. Overall performance is too good! I never turned it off since the day I turned it on because I need a constant Internet provision, and guess what, it does not heat up at all.
It is light weight and also easier to carry in your pockets and it looks slimmer than the photograph.
Apart from that, the body front is secured with a high quality scratch proof plastic guard which can be changed after years of use, making the device as good as new again.
The main use which I feel is relevant is, people who use a 4G phone can also buy this product who need to share hotspot on a regular basis for computer and other things. Using this device will refrain you from using phone's hotspot and therefore saving your phone's battery life and ipso facto prevent it from heating.
The battery life is excellent and charges very quickly!
