I signed up to rd in oct 2011 as a gift for my dad who was out working in the falklands. I got them sent to me and then I sent them onto him. I never got my books and always had to ring up to order the books. This happened month upon month upon month, eventually after complaining I got a cheque for £9 they said a good will gesture, and I should now recieved books every month.the last book I got was poss march!!! I decided to cut my losses as the calls were costing me more than what I paid for the subscription. I get bombarded with email upon email even though I have requested to op out or unsubscribe.
The other day I have a card through the door saying someone had tried to deliver a parcel, the parcel was delivered as a gift from rd, something I hadn't ordered. I have since recieved a bill for £19.95 for the book that is still in the box. Contacted customer services/no sense- emails thema no answer! If you want to have your money taken from you and get bills for things you don't want, need, or ask for them go ahead waste your money, if not I suggest you do yourself a favour and don't waste your time, and buy a mag from your newsagent every month!!
