Looks Like I'm on a ball! 2 reviews today!
Well, I stayed at this Business hotel last month on the way to a conference at Hong Kong and I was impressed that it was much better than the box-like room that I had to stay in the Harbor Plaza hotel there.
The rooms were much more spacious( I guess space is at a real premium in a box like Hong Kong, the relativity impressed me!), the service was good, but then, back to the review!
*Rooms:*
Clean, nicely appointed, adequately large. Nice bedside light and AC controls
*Bathroooms:*
Not so good, aging fixtures, Lukewarm water(no hot baths!)
*Service;*
Good, the bellboys and waiters were pretty smart and had that required smile! It does mean a lot to me!
*Reception:*
Efficicent and quite courteous
*Restaurants:*
2 Silver streak and Xuberance: I didn't try them out so I can't comment. I did have a sandwich from room service which was OK, but their *"thair sadham" *(curd rice) was excellent and had enough for 2!
*Food:*
Ok, I found the chicken sandwich I ordered passable, but no Michelin 3
star stuff here, but, hey, you're supposed to be on business here!

A Quick 1.2 Mile drive will lead you to one of the Biggest Shopping Malls, the Spencers Plaza. Another 1.2 Mile drive will lead you to the second longest Beach in the world, The Marina.

Ah, for 3500, you get a pretty good room in Chennai, and I felt it was worth the money. No swimming pool or ornate lobby, but it suffices!

If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel and good rooms, this is a pretty good deal
