Awesome car. Review on Opel Corsa Sail 1.4

Its been over a year that we bought this car. Maruti Swift was a buzz word in the car market at that time. The Hyundai Getz was another option. But one can make out the difference in the test drive itself. Though, Swift and Getz are good cars themselves, Sail was a class apart. The interiors are really spacious, unlike majority of other small / medium cars. The suspension is too good, enough to ensure you have a smooth ride even on a typical Indian road. Furthur on, we have an option between 1.4L and 1.6L Engines. The pick-up is amazing even with a 1.4L engine. This one zooms past the other cars in a flash. Its not difficult to reach the speed of 160Kmph on a highway, in fifth gear. And still the car is stable enough not to make you feel uncomfortable. And even at this spped and acceleration, the engine is silent enough to let you listen to the radio / CDs at a normal volume. We shifted from a Maruti 800 to this car, so initially it was an issue to get adjusted with the opposite placement of lights and wiper controls at the steering wheel. Though, if you need to drive everyday, you'll get adjusted with that within a week. When we bought this car, GM had just announced with the Limited edition Sail - with beige interiors, alloy wheels etc. It truly gives an feeling of a luxury sedan..
