I have booked OLA cab on 13th Feb 2016 from T. Nagar Railway station at 6:30 AM. They are saying as the charge is less Rs.10/km. But they are cheating customer by two ways.
1) Peak time charge: Always greater than 1.X. In my case I have booked with 1.6X at 6:30 AM. In the evening 5:00 PM I have tried to book and I got the message as 3.0X. That means for Rs. 300 travel, we have to pay Rs. 900. I don't understand the concept of peak time also multiplication of charges.
2) Travelling time: For every minute travel we have to pay Rs.1. They have changed the concept of waiting charges.
Also about OLA money, No driver is happy to accept OLA money. They are asking us to cancel the ride if we say the payment is by OLA money.
They are saying so many reasons for that
1) Driver has to pay Rs.100 to OLA if the payment is by OLA money. If they get the cash it is not the case.
2) Big procedure to get the amount from OLA by filling some details about the ride.
3) It will take 1 week to get the amount from OLA.
I had rides with Uber and Meru, there is no such issues. They are very happy to get the payment by wallet. Also there is no concept of peak time charges multiplication.
Unfortunately I have recharged OLA money, I have to spend this money and I will not never book OLA again.
