Why would you need a job portal if you have employers eating out of your hands. You need them because you are having difficulty getting a job. naukri.com has become like a fat cow which has stopped giving milk. Avoid them at all costs. They make life difficult for the employers and job applicants alike. They attract large number of job postings and ten times as many applications.
Your applications are bound to get ignored in the sea of applicants. It is like a lucky draw. If the employer likes something about your title, they may look at your resume and the chances of that happening is really slim. I think we should have a parliamentary bill to stop corporate cheating through misleading ads, sales calls and generally luring public into joining and doing absolutely nothing in return.
