I am a big time foodie and that means I love food to the core. I have been trying different restaurants lately, in order to see how are the basic food made at new places. One of my experiments was Mumbai MAsala in Mira Road. This restaurant is 10 minutes from my house. The first time I ordered two items – Chicken Lolly Pop and Half Chicken Tandoori.
Quite basic, right? Now I don’t prefer calling them and ordering and instead use either Food Panda or Zomato for ordering. I had used Zomato while ordering from Mumbai Masala. The restaurant’s delivery time mentioned on the app was 30 minutes. However, I received my order in almost 1 hour. I had complained about this to Zomato Chat as well, and they ensured me this was a onetime incident and next time no such delays will happen.
I was really impressed by the food. The chicken Tandoori is worth the money. It is a tad bit expensive, but the food is really amazing. The Chicken Lollypop was also quite amazing. The chicken Tandoori was moist which made it more special.
There was a second time, when I ordered Chicken tandoori and Roti from the same place through the same app. And guess what? The same delay in delivery happened. Now I am in love with the food at his place, but I am not okay with the wait.
I don’t mind a restaurant giving me a time frame of 1 hour and then delivering it in one hour, but if a place ensures it will deliver in 30 minutes, they should manage to do it. Or Else, they can simply change the delivery time on the app and take the time they actually require.
Anyway, I would recommend this hotel to people on the basis of the food, however a warning with the delivery time taken.
The rating is LOW only because of the delivery delay both the times, I ordered.
For food I will rate it 4/5
