The massanjore dam is situated in jharkhand and it is also known as Canada dam. The dam is about 30 kilometers away from Dumka and 35 kilometers from Siuri.
The dam is accessible through roadways. The highway is very good and provides very beautiful natural scenes.
The dam is huge and the view of the lake from the dam is epic. During monsoon when the water level is increased we get some thrilling moments to see and to feel. All the seven gates are opened and the huge flow of water from another side of the dam is mind blowing.
There is a newly made guest house near the dam which is quite good and beautiful. Overall, this place is good for tourists who are willing to come here.
There is no any management for safety. No gate keepers, no any rescue team. People have to take care of themselves.
