I purchased Mahindra XUV 500 last year and just completed 480km, received recall of my vehicle from Mahindra & Mahindra not sure why. After they gave back from recall one fine day while driving the vehicle on highway suddenly clutch failed and my family including my two small kids escaped from accident. So I called up customer care and they towed my vehicle to service center. I gave complain to Mahindra customer care against this incident and requested regional service manager to repair it properly as this is very dangerous. They have assured me they will repair properly and give it back after testing. After two weeks they returned the vehicle and I was happy that they have repair it properly.
But unfortunately while me and my brother driving on highway the same problem occurred again after driving few kilometers , suddenly the clutch become free and the engine stopped right in the middle of road. Very lucky that we were driving slowly at 20km/hr at that time otherwise we would have had severe accident.
