Ever since I saw a prototype sketch of a new revolutionary Suv to be launched by M&M in an auto magazine in India way back in the college days I have always dreamt of owning a Scorpio for myself.

Well to say the least buying a scorpio means big money for a whole majority of Indians who dream of owning one including me.

So finally here I was having earned enough moolah to put away a tidy sum (read hard earned) on a Scorpio I decided to check the same out a while back.

To my utter disappointment I realised that though the vehicle is big it is not meant for tall people .I had a problem tucking away my knees which were more or less stuck to the Dash board. I happen to be a 6 footer.

I pushed the drivers seat back to the maximum to no effect.I happened to look back and realized that if a fella had to be sitting right behind me , he'd have to put his legs somewhere else.;-)

Well somehow I managed a not so comfortable test drive.Yes the Scorpio was peppy yet there was a lot of body roll on curves .The pedals are pretty stiff and the vehicle doesnt sit pretty on the road .

The looks are simply smashing but my experience shattered my heart. I had simply lost my love for here.

Sorry if I sound sentimental but I hope this ode to my sweetheart is of use to at least the tall kind.
