When I first saw Jo jeeta wohi sikandar, I was merely thirteen, my elder sister, with three years of experience over me, was just stepping into junior college. After watching the movie, I used to scramble out of bed, just to see her dress for college and my mind use to conjure exciting situations for her. I envied her every single step of the way. I couldn't wait to grow up and get absorbed in college life and high school romance.

The movie was all a movie could be. Is all a movie can be. Its inspriring, its motivating, the plot line is interspersed with humour and alternated with reality. Every collge going youth is bound to identify with this movie. It is a film which transcends the confines of generations and holds true every time!

Everybody wants to be a winner, if only to impress their latest crush. Everybody wants to be appreciated and accepted. And everybody naturally depsises mr/ms popular. But being popular does not equate to being a winner. Love cannot grow at the mercy of superficial nuances and victory is the sweetest when you have laboured for it! All messages conveyed in one single movie!

Today, when the college days are reduced to memories, I still pull out a CD of JJWS and relive my moments through the laughter on screen! I did say it was a movie that could be watched ANY time, didnt I?
