*When I was in service, I had many Credit cards, paid through my company. But the cards were in my personal name. When I left the company because of non-payment of my salary for 2 years including Credit card dues, spent for company purposes, the banks started approaching me for settlement. With great difficulty I settled all the dues of my credit cards after mutually agreeing
***The final settlement amount. ICICI never had decent dues collectors, without ID card or even buisiness card. I met the ICICI officer concern directly, worked out the final settlement amount, paid and got the final settlement letter from the bank in 2002. I was not getting any monthly statement from them afterwards. In 2006, one representative of ICICI credit card division came to my house asking for the dues.
Which I already settled. I gave him all copies of documents to prove that I have already settled the dues. After wards there was no response from them. I also have ICICI s/b account as I work with ICICI Prudential Priority circle as Adviser. In February'09 statement I found that my account shows a negat****ive balance of Rs.1, 51, 000/-
At the same time I received a letter from one of the branches of ICICI credit card division that I am due with Rs.1, 50, 800/-(which I already paid). They gave their contact numbers and I tried my level best to contact but could not get them.
They also mentioned calling themselves as "The reputed, well organized, customer friendly bank in their letter! Again I sent all the documents to their branch office. Before getting the document, one of the officers called me(getting my number from my ICICI s/b account Branch).
The officer(I do not want to mention his name) could not even talk in proper English, was very rude in his language. Finally I managed to explain him that I have sent all the documents of proof by courier again. Luckily I was having'zero balance' account with ICICI and my balance is only Rs.124/-! I have instructed all my clients not to deposit any more money to my ICICI account.
Never accept the attractive offer of ICICI Credit Card or loan! They have illitrates working in their bank who are uncapable of maintaining computer generated account of their customers.
