Story:

This is such a profound book that the author Christina Lamb has depicted the life of Malala in a elegant way. The history of Pakistan under various regimes and the evolution of Taliban in Swat Valley(of Pakistan) are cleanly told.

The book is insightful for those who don't have any substantial awareness about india pakistan conflicts notwithstanding an honest effort in writing Christina Lamb is less than unsuccesful in explaining what did Malala actually do to get the nobel prize which I am sure she deserves. This book has primarily emphasized more on her father's efforts which are also rather herculean considering the circumstances they were pulled off in but Malala's contribution is vague and blurry.

Her agony are clearly stated and even though she had become a celebrity, her childish fights with her friends and her inner thoughts are also mentioned. After reading, as an Indian I felt that eventhuogh she has lent hands to many patients in health, she didn't even mention India to be good nation. We could see her rage of India as an enemy nation. God only knows whether the information in this book is right or wrong.

I know this is not a book to explain why she has got a nobel prize but I doubt there will be another one for that so this is all we have got but its not upto the mark.
