The food at Hotel Saravana Bhavan belongs to the best I have tried since my arrival in India. The kitchen offers regional as well as North Indian vegetarian food of high quality. The place is clean, the staff friendly and the location nice, being located some hundred meters from Kapaleeshwar Temple. Variety is big as well since you can order 27 different dishes for under 300 INR.
All in all a good place to become familiar with Indian dishes in a clean environment.
