I ordered fashion jewelry of Zaveri Pearls from HomeShop18 Order No.67564225 -Product Code:29246651. I have been a Zaveri Pearls jewelry user from retail shops and I understand what they make. They even provide with a lifetime replacement warranty. When I shopped it from HomeShop18 the product reached my house damaged and it did not look any closer to what was visible online.
When I call up the customer care center, it was like they are going to do me a favor, if they replaced the product. Today is 29th and the product was bought to be gifted on 5th, so I'll end up spending more. I have been shopping online for quite some times now.
I have always had good experiences for other site like Myntra and their customer care/replacement is prompt. But here I would recommend online shoppers to stay away from HomeShop 18.
After defective piece received there was a reluctance in replacing the product. The product delivery time was 2 days and replacement time would be around 15 days after they received their money, sounds ridiculous. All the items received in bad shape, not packed properly nor handled properly, nor finished properly.
I spend Rs.2600/- just to find out the product delivered is not even worth Rs.260/- and they would not take the product back, unlike other sites nor credit me the money received from me and reluctance in even replacing the product. Imagine you shopping on such a online portal.
The only thing I would like to tell you all is:
Please please please stay away from HOMESHOP 18.
Today, 02/12/2013, after a few calls to the call center, not to mention many previous calls, they have agreed and advised me to not to accept the parcel that they have re-dispatched after my sending it back for a refund. Why re-dispatch in the first place?They have said that they will forward the request and possibly refund the money by cash. Let us see how the game proceeds, I'll keep posting.
