Very Very expensive and Govt office experience. Review on HomeLane

I am existing customer of Homelane . Except for the kitchen all wood work was done with Homelane 5 years back .

Pricing & timeline was ok for this work. We planned to renovate our kitchen with modular kitchen so from Homelane( J P nagar bangalore)

we wanted to have this wood work done. I saw drastic change in the way the costing and details of project

explained .They had given initial quote of 4.5Lakhs with chimney, Hob and some other accessories. I am attaching the

cost of all accessories Homelane charged. Every time I asked for some change the whole quote use to change along with

the changes I had asked . This sucked my time and effort to compare the last quote with this quote. I also got to know

the price will vary after actual measurement of kitchen. The price increased after the measurement.

After the 10% payment Homelane created a Watsapp group to post our queries and changes n all. I observed

some discrepancy in the quoted accessories summary and actual accessory break up . Prepared a excel sheet and sent to

team for verification. It is almost 2 weeks no reply came from any one in the group. I had several discussions on the

cost of accessories Homelane charging above MRP( few items double) . If you ask the reason that cost is transportation

GST and installation charges. In the quote already they charged 65, 000 as service(overall) . After this for every

accessory they are charging installation charge. I was redirected to several staff for my queries like Govt office.

I chose Homelane to have hassles free and ontime work at the almost double the cost of normal modular kitchen company

but ended up with daily discussions as every time the quote they sent was different with lots of confusing details.

I suggest Please take care of few things before you do 10% payment, Homelane will provoke you with 20% -30% instant discount

if booking done on the same day.

• Services cost is very very expensive

• Accessory cost is above MRP

• Multiple service charges

• Ask for the soft copy of all split up of accessories and service changes. take time to analyze the worthiness

• Once you do the payment, you need to run behind multiple SPOCs.

• The cost of accessories available in Homelane website and the changes they quote are different . They say it is 2020 year content.

Prices jumped.

• Homelane will not allow you to buy accessories from outside. If you buy service and installation charges to be paid extra.

to give you an example for a normal basket fixing service charge is 2000 rupees. And no warranty

• All the prices mentioned in the quote detailed dosen't mean it is fair pricing, please analyse worthiness of that cost and discrepancies .

• The tool Homelane people use for design and quotation is not ISO certified tool, please review the quote several times before you do 10% payment

• Please have clear idea of civil and plumbing work needed and cost of this work from Homelane it is twice or thrice of actual cost .
