I am a member of HDFC over an year now but I am very disappointed by their services and staff.
Firstly they don’t provide good customer service. The staff is always uninterested to serve you.
Secondly, the machines there don’t work. Whenever you go to the bank they’ll either say that the servers are down or the printing machine is not working. If you have to get anything printed or even update your passbook you have to atleast visit 10 times. It’s been months I have been visiting them but they always have an excuse that the printing machine is not working. If you need to deposit cash immediately then you have to wait in long queues like ordinary government banks because the staff is very slow in working and not cooperative with the customers. If you want immediate updation of balance after you deposit money at the counter, you will have to wait for atleast 4-5 hours because every time they say that the servers are down. HDFC at the first should work on their servers. When they want to sell their services like insurance, loans, credit card, etc, they will act as the best persons and portray HDFC as the best bank as compared to others
The big name that HDFC has is sadly depleting day by day due to theirs service and staff. Even people around me who use HDFC bank are not happy and some have closed their accounts with HDFC and opened new accounts in other better banks like Yes Bank, Axis Bank, and many other. At this point of time I would not recommend HDFC to anyone.
