Gully Boy which is a movie about a 22-year-old boy named "Murad" played by Ranveer Singh and a strong witty female Safeena played by Alia Bhatt. As is known that authentic hip-hop is a music form originated from streets and so are the songs that as produced by Ranveer as a gully, meaning street is booming like fire among millennials.
The film revolves around very intense characters, evolves strong feelings, portrays emotional side of the raging actors who are incessantly trying to depict eh power of human potential that no one should be undermined. It is presented with focused direction. It uses different narrative to depict a totally different character.
The film portrays an impulsive social message through its cleverly written rap songs, that may sound a little provocative but in no way does it not see the vibrant message to be heard all over.
This movie has definitely given Authentic Hip Hop in India a whole new direction with its unceasing rage. It showcases how son of a driver, who was raised by dedicated and hard-working parents to get a professional clerical job ignites like fire to be a rapper.
