Based on the hype created in print and online media, and being a regular buyer at ebay.in, I ordered goods worth more than Rs Eight Thousand. I paid through the ICICI payment gateway option from the website. The amount was immediately deducted from my bank account. However even after one week their My Account order status displays oder status as payment awaited. when I contacted their phone helpline, they informed me that their accounting department verifies the payment staus and updates the status, and they take their own sweet time.
I was elured by cheap prices and guarantees and their return policy. Also, I thought that since they have a good brick and mortar presence, they will be able to translate their brand equity to their online presence. But sadly I was mistaken.
May be in future the futurebazaar.com will be ready for business, as for now stay away and stick to ebay.in.
