I would not call this one of the most awaited movie of the year, but yes the catchy title and the amazing'Laree Choote' song did raise a lot of expectations. I personally, thought that the movie kept up to the expectations and did prove to be a movie for sure to spend you time on. I will keep my review to be short and sweet and I am no Taran Adarsh.
Story: Will not leak out too much as I want you guys to watch it and not satisfy yourself by just reading this review. Its an adventure-in-one-night movie. It surely makes you think that'this could happen to you', especially if you do travel by the bombay local. There are numerious situations and settings and does enough to make the movie go forward at a decent pace.
Performances: Abhay does an amazing job. He probably is not the most good looking guys on the circuit, but can surely pull through a performance. If he was good looking and had flashy way of doing things, he would easily be giving guys like shahid, zayed or even fardeen, a run for the money. Watch this guy come up in the industry, especially in the performance based roles. Neha was just about average. I dont even find her to be good-looking, god alone knows how she is able to bag roles one after the other. Saying that, she does potray her role well. Put it this way, she does what she was asked to. The rest of the cast are virtually unknown but do quite well.
Dialogues: Well written and goes really well with the situations and the roles.
Music: Nothing much to write about, except for Laree Choote which unfortunately is not there in the movie at all.
Director: He surely knew what he was doing and did a great job handling the plot and characters. he did not complicate matters way too much which is quite possible in such a thriller. He took car of each situation in its own way, finishing it one of the best possible manners. Good one!
