Here is hoping that the review is not deleted by the concerned company. I plan to proceed on the 24 Aug 2009 Pune to Mumbai at 11 am, with the return trip on 30 Aug 209 at 9 am.
Hence surfed the net for likely taxi services on the Pune Mumbai sector. e cabs is a portal that is omnipresent on the net. I shot off mails after going through their site , requesting for a shared Toyota Innova on the 8 Aug 2009, sometime in the morning hours, in both directions.
On getting no response either telephonic ally or an e mail reply, I called them on 10 Aug at 7 pm , only to discover that Mr Venkatesh, the customer care executive at their Mumbai office was unaware of my mail , opening it only as a result of my telephone call.
A full 24 hours later I receive a mail stating that they have not started the shared taxi service as yet. Pray , why have this false information (**shared taxi facility **) on the web site ! Why have an elaborate, jazzy , ultra modern web site if you **take 72 hours to respond**. Answer to my query could have been given by Mr Venkatesh when I talked with him. He was apparently not sure about the answer .I thank my stars that I got a taste of things to come , by my first interaction itself. So will never deal with this company in future.
